This year seems to have just flown by, and Christmas is almost upon us. The business of life and the flurry of activities leave us wondering what happened to the year. It is heartening though, to see the support that has grown for the Seniors’ programmes and functions this term.
It is also very rewarding to see how many of our seniors’ are actively involved in various ministries in the church, adding their support to the work of the Lord in this part of God’s vineyard.
Below are some photos and feedback of our Seniors’ Ministry over the last quarter.

SENIORS’ BIBLE STUDY
Our Bible study provides a valuable opportunity for personal spiritual growth and fellowship around the Word of God. For those seeking a deeper encounter with God, our seniors’ Bible study incorporates both participation on a personal level and in depth biblical teaching through direct exegesis of the Word of God. It has been encouraging to see the increase of numbers of seniors who have come desiring to grow spiritually through the study of God’s word.
Our seniors’ Get-2-gethers have a healthy mix of fellowship, fun, spiritual input and amazing refreshments, often made by our seniors themselves. The screening of the DVD “ The Penny ”was very well received and provided a challenge to us all.
We also had the pleasure of hosting a combined Seniors’ Get –together with a number of other Baptist churches, which proved to be a great success. We thank Adele, who not only organised the event but also arranged some amazing eats.
SENIORS’ HEALTH DAYS
I’d like to thank Pat Coxen and Ethel Fouche for the sterling work they do in visiting and blessing our seniors. In addition, I’d like to thank Mike Sanders and Darry Schoeman, for being willing the drive the bus for the various outings we undertake.
It is impossible to thank everyone who has assisted with the Seniors’ Ministry this term but the Lord knows how and when you have served Him, may He blessed you for your support.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me on any matter related to our Seniors’ Ministry.
